Maryanne’s practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law, with a primary emphasis in the chemical arts. She is actively expanding her expertise in comprehensive patent drafting and leveraging this growing experience to protect a wide range of innovations, particularly within the chemical and mechanical sector.

Prior to joining Lempia Summerfield Katz, Maryanne was a paralegal working in
corporate financial transactions. Additionally, Maryanne was a law clerk assisting in representing clients in civil litigation.

Non-Legal Experience

Maryanne began her career working in manufacturing and supply chain management. Prior to law school, Maryanne taught high school chemistry and earth science in New York City.
