Ryan Gleitz’s practice includes patent prosecution as well as patent validity and infringement analysis and opinions. Throughout his career, Ryan has drafted and prosecuted patents in a variety of areas including:

• Bathroom and kitchen fixtures and appliances
• Sanitation and cleaning devices
• Engines and generators
• Home automation
• Network and internet communication
• Navigation and routing
• Printing and image processing technologies
• Electronic commerce, business methods and trading systems

Prior to joining Lempia Summerfield Katz, Ryan was an associate with a large intellectual property firm. He also brings invaluable experience from his six years as a Patent Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the electrical technology group.

Away from the office, Ryan’s problem-solving skills are put to a different use. He and his two sons love exploring the world through geocaching, a modern-day treasure hunt, and metal detecting, which uncovers forgotten treasures from the past.
